Big-Scoring Night in the NBA: Full Slate Review
It was a massive day of hoops with high scores, wild comebacks and some monster individual lines across the league. From the Warriors dropping 137 on the Kings, to tight finishes in Oklahoma City–Memphis and Milwaukee–Los Angeles, punters had plenty to sweat on every quarter, half and full-time result.
Below is a game-by-game breakdown of every matchup, using the official scoring and player stats from the records above. If you’re tracking how players performed against their points, threes, PRA or turnovers markets, this is where it all lands.
Toronto Raptors vs Boston Celtics
Boston took care of business at home with a 125–117 win over Toronto, edging each of the first three quarters before holding off a late Raptors push. The Celtics led 37–30 after the first and 68–60 at half-time, then kept that eight-point buffer into the fourth (97–86 after three) despite the Raptors winning the final term 31–28.
Offensively, it was a true team effort from Boston. Jaylen Brown put up 25 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists (40 PRA and 33 PR), doing a bit of everything. Payton Pritchard matched Brown in PRA with 40 as well, driven by 27 points, 5 rebounds and a game-high 8 assists. Sam Hauser chipped in 19 points with 5 made threes and 5 rebounds (26 PRA), while Derrick White added 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (26 PRA).
Anfernee Simons was another key contributor with 15 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists (22 PRA). Neemias Queta brought energy inside with 10 points and 6 boards (16 PR and PRA), and Luka Garza and Hugo Gonzalez rounded things out as part of a rotation where almost everyone stuffed at least one column.
On the Toronto side, scoring was well spread but lacked that one huge explosion to flip the game. RJ Barrett and Ja'Kobe Walter both finished with 19 points. Barrett added 4 rebounds and 7 assists for 30 PRA, while Walter produced a strong all-round line with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist (26 PRA, 25 PR). Immanuel Quickley was busy as usual with 17 points, 2 rebounds and a team-high 13 assists (32 PRA), also knocking down 4 threes and tallying 4 combined turnovers, steals and blocks.
Sandro Mamukelashvili impacted the box score with 15 points and 8 rebounds (23 PR, 24 PRA), and Jamal Shead added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists (22 PRA). Collin Murray-Boyles was a defensive standout, posting 3 steals to go with 7 points and 2 rebounds (10 PRA and 9 PR). In the end, though, Boston’s balance and shot-making across all four quarters was the difference.
New Orleans Pelicans vs Washington Wizards
The Pelicans ran away 128–107 winners over the Wizards in a game that got progressively more lopsided as it went on. New Orleans led 28–26 after one, 60–50 at half-time and then really opened it up with a 40–34 third quarter. A 28–23 fourth sealed an emphatic 21-point victory.
Trey Murphy III was the headline act, piling on 35 points with 7 made threes, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. That’s a huge 43 PR and 47 PRA performance, backed by 4 steals+blocks on the defensive end. Derik Queen was almost as impressive with a 14-point, 16-rebound, 12-assist triple-double (30 PR, 42 PRA) and 2 blocks, dominating the glass and playmaking duties.
Zion Williamson reminded everyone why he’s a force in transition and in the paint, finishing with 31 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists (35 PR, 38 PRA), plus 2 steals. Jeremiah Fears came up big from the perimeter with 21 points, 5 boards and 6 assists (26 PR, 32 PRA) including 2 threes. Yves Missi (3 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists; 12 PR, 14 PRA) and Micah Peavy (9 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist; 10 PR, 11 PRA) rounded out a very productive Pels rotation.
For Washington, there were bright spots despite the scoreboard. Kyshawn George posted 15 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists (20 PR, 22 PRA), while Tristan Vukcevic delivered 15 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists with a massive 5 blocks (19 PR, 21 PRA and 7 combined tos/steals/blocks). Justin Champagnie’s 12 points and 9 rebounds (21 PR, 25 PRA) gave the Wizards some interior presence, and Carlton Carrington was busy on the ball with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (16 PR, 20 PRA).
Tre Johnson (12 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists; 13 PR, 15 PRA) and Bilal Coulibaly (8 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists; 13 PR, 17 PRA) showed the future is bright, but New Orleans’ top-end production from Murphy, Queen and Zion proved far too much over four quarters.
Philadelphia 76ers vs Orlando Magic
In one of the lower-scoring clashes of the day, the 76ers ground out a 103–91 away win over the Magic. Orlando actually led 28–24 after the first quarter and 54–53 at half-time, but Philadelphia flipped the script after the break. The Sixers won the third 30–25 and locked in defensively in the fourth, holding the Magic to just 12 points in a 20–12 final term to pull away.
Detailed player stats weren’t listed in the data for this matchup, but the scoring pattern tells the story: Orlando started strong, then stalled badly down the stretch. Philadelphia’s 50–37 second-half advantage highlighted their ability to tighten up at both ends when it mattered – something punters watching second-half and live totals would have felt keenly.
Los Angeles Clippers vs Brooklyn Nets
Brooklyn went into LA and picked up a convincing 121–105 win over the Clippers. The Nets set the tone early with a 35–25 first quarter and carried a 63–47 lead into the main break. The second half was a dead heat at 58–58, but the damage was already done.
The records provided don’t break down individual lines in this game, but it’s clear from the quarter-by-quarter scoring that Brooklyn’s offence clicked from the opening tip. For the Clippers, it was a case of playing from behind all night – every push they made in the third and fourth was matched bucket-for-bucket by the Nets, who maintained their cushion all the way to full time.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs Memphis Grizzlies
Thunder–Grizzlies was one of the games of the day for drama. Oklahoma City rallied from a huge early deficit to steal a 117–116 road win. Memphis came out flying, up 35–25 after the first and 65–46 at half-time. The Thunder responded with a 35–29 third term and then completely flipped the game in the fourth, winning the final quarter 36–22 to edge it by a single point.
Jalen Williams led the way for OKC with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists (31 PR, 36 PA, 41 PRA) plus 2 steals and a block. Kenrich Williams was enormous off the ball with 21 points, 8 rebounds and no assists (29 PR and PRA), hitting 3 threes and contributing 2 steals+blocks and 0 turnovers. Ajay Mitchell also had a big night, posting 23 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists (26 PR, 29 PA, 32 PRA) along with 3 combined tos/steals/blocks and 2 threes.
Aaron Wiggins gave the Thunder a massive boost with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist (23 PR, 24 PRA) and active defence (3 tos+steals+blocks). Luguentz Dort’s 13 points, 6 boards and 4 assists (19 PR, 17 PA, 23 PRA) plus 3 steals and a block were crucial in the defensive turnaround, while Isaiah Joe and Branden Carlson each added floor spacing and defensive events (Joe with 3 points and 2 blocks; Carlson with 5 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 2 blocks).
Memphis still got big production from multiple players. Jaren Jackson Jr. finished with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist (30 PR, 24 PA, 31 PRA), adding a steal and a block. Santi Aldama put up 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists (22 PR, 22 PA, 29 PRA), while Jock Landale recorded 13 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists (23 PR, 15 PA, 25 PRA).
GG Jackson II dropped 18 points with 2 rebounds and no assists (20 PR, 18 PA, 20 PRA), and Cedric Coward was impressive with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (22 PR, 17 PA, 26 PRA). Cam Spencer quietly orchestrated much of the offence with 7 points, 4 rebounds and 11 assists (11 PR, 18 PA, 22 PRA). In the end, though, Memphis’ 21 total turnovers versus OKC’s much cleaner second half proved costly, and the Thunder’s 71–51 dominance after the break sealed a famous comeback.
New York Knicks vs Phoenix Suns
In Phoenix, the Suns edged out the Knicks 112–107 in a tight contest where both offences traded blows all night. Phoenix led 28–23 after the first quarter and 62–60 at half-time. The Suns extended the gap slightly in the third with a 32–26 period before New York tried to rally late, winning the fourth 21–18 but falling just short.
Player-level stats weren’t included in the dataset for this matchup, but from a betting perspective, the steady scoring each quarter meant full-time totals, alternate spreads and live lines were always in the balance. With both halves separated by just a couple of points (62–60 then 50–47), it was the Suns’ slightly sharper execution in the middle quarters that ultimately made the difference.
Atlanta Hawks vs Denver Nuggets
Atlanta went into Denver and stunned the home side with a 110–87 win, blowing the game open late. The Hawks led 30–28 after the first and 58–50 at half-time. Denver clawed back in the third, winning that quarter 25–16 to make it 74–75 heading into the last. Then Atlanta unleashed a 36–12 fourth-quarter demolition to turn a tight contest into a 23-point blowout.
Jalen Johnson was immense, finishing with 29 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists (38 PR, 35 PA, 44 PRA) and hitting 5 threes. Dyson Daniels posted a near triple-double of his own with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists (28 PR, 27 PA, 38 PRA), anchoring the Hawks’ offence and glass work. Nickeil Alexander-Walker also shone with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists (30 PR, 25 PA, 33 PRA) and 3 made threes.
Onyeka Okongwu delivered a strong interior performance with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (20 PR, 20 PA, 25 PRA) plus 3 steals and a block. Asa Newell and Luke Kennard added valuable support, Newell posting 9 points and 4 rebounds (13 PR, 9 PA, 13 PRA) and Kennard logging 8 points, 1 rebound and 4 assists (9 PR, 12 PA, 13 PRA) with 2 threes.
For Denver, Peyton Watson was the standout. He poured in 25 points and 11 rebounds (36 PR, 29 PA, 40 PRA) with 4 steals+blocks and 2 made threes, impacting at both ends. Aaron Gordon followed with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (23 PR, 19 PA, 28 PRA). Tim Hardaway Jr. added 10 points, 2 boards and 1 assist (12 PR, 11 PA, 13 PRA), while Zeke Nnaji contributed 12 points and 3 rebounds (15 PR, 12 PA, 15 PRA) with a three.
Jalen Pickett posted 7 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (13 PR, 13 PA, 19 PRA) and Bruce Brown chipped in 3 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists (6 PR, 5 PA, 8 PRA), but Denver’s offence dried up badly in the last period. For anyone backing Denver late, that 12-point fourth quarter was a killer.
Houston Rockets vs Portland Trail Blazers
In a tight, momentum-swinging game, the Trail Blazers outlasted the Rockets 111–105. Portland trailed 29–28 after the first but were level 55–56 at half-time, with both teams scoring 27 in the second quarter. The Rockets surged ahead in the third 34–22 to lead 90–77, but Portland exploded in the final term, winning the fourth 34–15 to snatch a six-point victory.
For the Blazers, it was a genuine team performance. Toumani Camara led the scoring with 25 points, adding 2 rebounds and 2 assists (27 PR, 27 PA, 29 PRA) and 5 made threes. Shaedon Sharpe matched him with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (28 PR, 25 PA, 33 PRA), giving Portland a dynamic perimeter threat who also cleaned the glass.
Deni Avdija was everywhere: 20 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists (23 PR, 26 PA, 29 PRA) plus 2 steals. Caleb Love poured in 18 points and 4 rebounds with 1 assist (22 PR, 19 PA, 23 PRA), drilling 4 threes. Donovan Clingan anchored the paint with 8 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists (23 PR, 14 PA, 29 PRA) and 3 combined steals+blocks, an absolute stat-stuffing line for rebounding and PRA punters.
Off the bench, Sidy Cissoko tallied 13 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist (14 PR, 14 PA, 15 PRA), while Duop Reath added 3 points, 5 boards and 1 assist (8 PR, 4 PA, 9 PRA). Rayan Rupert and Yang Hansen chipped in smaller but tidy lines, combining for 4 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists between them.
For Houston, Kevin Durant put up a classic stat line with 30 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (42 PR, 34 PA, 46 PRA) along with 2 steals and 2 blocks. Amen Thompson was superb with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists (33 PR, 27 PA, 36 PRA) and 2 steals. Reed Sheppard added 20 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists (23 PR, 24 PA, 27 PRA), splashing 4 threes and contributing defensively with a steal and a block.
Jabari Smith rounded out a strong Rockets frontcourt performance with 13 points and 8 rebounds plus 1 assist (21 PR, 14 PA, 22 PRA) and 3 blocks. Steven Adams gave them presence inside with 5 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists (14 PR, 8 PA, 17 PRA), while Tari Eason filled in across the board with 6 points, 3 boards and 2 assists (9 PR, 8 PA, 11 PRA).
Despite those big individual lines, Houston’s 49-point second half compared to Portland’s 56 – particularly that 34–15 final quarter – swung the overall result and plenty of markets with it.
Sacramento Kings vs Golden State Warriors
Golden State produced the offensive performance of the day, smashing Sacramento 137–103. The Warriors led 34–29 after the first and 63–59 at half-time in what initially looked like a shootout. They then found another gear, winning the third 34–25 and absolutely blowing the game apart with a 40–19 fourth quarter to secure a 34-point victory.
Stephen Curry was in vintage form: 27 points, 10 assists and 0 rebounds (27 PR, 37 PA, 37 PRA), with 6 made threes, 1 steal and 2 blocks. De'Anthony Melton chipped in 19 points, 0 rebounds and 1 assist (19 PR, 20 PA, 20 PRA) while drilling 3 threes. Jimmy Butler delivered a classic all-round line – 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (21 PR, 21 PA, 27 PRA) – and Draymond Green did much of the dirty work with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists (17 PR, 19 PA, 25 PRA) plus 4 combined tos/steals/blocks and 3 made threes.
Al Horford contributed 9 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists (14 PR, 11 PA, 16 PRA), while Gary Payton II was a superb role player with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 1 assist (21 PR, 13 PA, 22 PRA). Brandin Podziemski added 14 points, 4 boards and 2 assists (18 PR, 16 PA, 20 PRA), and Quinten Post impressed off the bench with 11 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists (13 PR, 13 PA, 15 PRA) including 3 made threes and 3 blocks.
Sacramento had solid individual outings that were buried by the scoreboard. DeMar DeRozan led the Kings with 24 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists (26 PR, 27 PA, 29 PRA), stuffing 3 steals as well. Zach LaVine added 15 points, 3 boards and 3 assists (18 PR, 18 PA, 21 PRA) with a three, and Russell Westbrook produced 13 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists (17 PR, 17 PA, 24 PRA).
Dennis Schröder came off the bench with 15 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists (18 PR, 18 PA, 21 PRA), while Maxime Raynaud and Dylan Cardwell combined for 14 points and 17 rebounds between them (Raynaud 8 & 7, Cardwell 6 & 8). Still, Sacramento’s 44-point second half against Golden State’s 74 was nowhere near enough to keep things interesting.
Milwaukee Bucks vs Los Angeles Lakers
The Bucks escaped with a tight 105–101 win over the Lakers in the closing game of the slate. Milwaukee edged ahead 24–25 in the first (down one), then asserted control in the second 37–27 to take a 61–52 lead into half-time. The third was even at 25–25, and although the Lakers outscored the Bucks 24–19 in the fourth, Milwaukee held on for the four-point win.
LeBron James did everything he could for Los Angeles. He finished with 26 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists (35 PR, 36 PA, 45 PRA) plus 3 steals and 2 made threes. Luka Dončić was nearly as big, posting 24 points, 9 boards and 9 assists (33 PR, 33 PA, 42 PRA) with 4 threes and 2 steals. Jarred Vanderbilt provided massive support on the boards with 9 points and 9 rebounds plus 2 assists (18 PR, 11 PA, 20 PRA) and a three.
Jake Laravia chipped in 13 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists (15 PR, 15 PA, 17 PRA) while hitting 3 threes. Marcus Smart added 9 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist (13 PR, 10 PA, 14 PRA) and 3 threes with 2 steals. Deandre Ayton (4 points, 5 rebounds), Jaxson Hayes (6 and 2), Gabe Vincent (6 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists) and Maxi Kleber rounded out a Lakers rotation that got plenty of contributions but just fell short.
For Milwaukee, Kevin Porter was outstanding with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (27 PR, 28 PA, 33 PRA), adding 4 steals and a three. Giannis Antetokounmpo compiled 21 points, 6 boards and 5 assists (27 PR, 26 PA, 32 PRA) with 2 steals and 2 blocks. Bobby Portis was huge off the bench, delivering 11 points and 12 rebounds plus 3 assists (23 PR, 14 PA, 26 PRA) and a three.
Kyle Kuzma added 13 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists (16 PR, 15 PA, 18 PRA), while Myles Turner contributed 8 points, 6 boards and no assists (14 PR, 8 PA, 14 PRA) but hit 2 threes and added defensive presence. AJ Green gave them valuable spacing with 11 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists (13 PR, 13 PA, 15 PRA) on 3 made threes, and Ryan Rollins chipped in 10 points, 6 boards and 2 assists (16 PR, 12 PA, 18 PRA).
In a game where both sides had multiple stars go over strong PR and PRA lines, Milwaukee’s extra depth – and slightly better second-quarter surge – proved decisive.

Boston’s balanced attack kept Toronto at arm’s length, and multiple games featured huge PRA performances that would have delighted anyone backing overs on star players.
